Deadlines are rarely less negotiable than Christmas. This project had 23 contributors of content plus myself (I did 8th December after someone failed to deliver any material).
Content and support was provided collegially from both Digital Learning and the Centre for Higher Education (CHEP) in a team building exercise, at a time when many staff were working from home and surveys showed that people were feeling rather isolated and disconnected.
The calendar infographic is interactive, please explore it. I explain some of the process in the video on the right and on ThingLink’s own blog.

Appendix
I created more than 30 ThingLink infographics in my role as Digital Resources Developer at the University of Southampton and also transitioned several legacy H5P projects to ThingLink.
Between January 2023 and March 2026 my infographics received over 90946 views.
ThingLink Certified Creator completed in May 2022.
In April 2026 I was certified as a ThingLink Certified Trainer. I have supported many colleagues across the faculties at the University of Southampton to create their own ThingLinks, gave online presentations and ran an in-person workshop for interns.
As a certified trainer I hope to support many more people to find better ways to present their content in our digital world of just-in-time learning.
