Blender  Blender 3D

Blender 3D is a FREE open source 3D modelling package with some great 2D animation and video editing features built-in, available for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Despite all the features, it will take up about 500 MB on your hard drive – about 15% of the space Autodesk Maya 2018 consumes. It is less fussy about your computer processor and GPU than Maya or 3ds Max. Models created in Blender can easily be imported to Maya, Unreal or Unity.

Portable version

You can even run Blender as a ‘portable’ app from a cloud folder, external drive, or local folder without installing it into Windows, so you could keep it on a USB flash drive and use it on a friend or relative’s PC or at college or a library.
