My-Animation is excited to announce our Summer Club for fun, imagination and creativity, learning a range of animation skills and techniques. We have 12 places available for 8-16 year olds.
Led by Jed (MA Interactive Production), Jamie (BA Animation) and Dawn (BTEC Media Moving Image) we are offering twenty hours of tuition and creation over 5 weeks: 10am-2pm every Wednesday from the 29th July through to the 26th of August 2015 in the great Youth Space at the Ascension Centre, Bitterne Park, SO18 1HZ.
Animations will be posted on our Website, Facebook page and YouTube for friends & family to enjoy.

Course overview
This fun course will culminate in a showcase for the Club’s animations during the final hour.
Club members will be supervised by Jed and Dawn Gibbs, who hold current DBS (formerly CRB) certificates. Parents are welcome to stay.
Each session will be divided into short workshops for the first 3 hours, leaving the final hour for the club members to progress their project.
We suggest that members bring a packed lunch, or money to purchase food. Drinking water will be provided.
Club members will be split into teams to enable efficient animation learning and practice.
My-Animation will provide 4 computer animation stations with cameras as well as plasticine and armature wire for model building.
